Sergio’s photos include macro photography  as well as landscapes but he often indulges in still life compositions where he can play with light and colors to give depth and vibrancy to his creations. A careful use of post processing techniques allows him to give a new life to every-day objects, flowers or fruit and to re-interpret the reality of a photo as he envisions it.  The

The inspiration for Sergio’s compositions comes from the earlier Roman frescoes, which can be considered among the first still life as well as the more complex dutch and European renaissance or even impressionist paintings. For Sergio the camera is just an instrument to show the reality as he sees it.
